Secret Ingredient Chocolate Cake

In honor of the fall season quickly approaching, and the pumpkin flavored everything making its way to grocery store shelves, I thought I'd share this secret ingredient chocolate cake. It's extremely simple and tastes delicious! Give it a try, I guarentee you'll be pleasantly surprised!

Ingredients

1 Box Devils Food Cake Mix

1 15oz Can of Pumpkin

1/2 Cup Chocolate Chips (Optional)

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix devils food cake mix and canned pumpkin together. Mix will be a little difficult to stir, add a small amount of water if needed. Pour batter into greased square pan or loaf pan. Sprinkle top with chocolate chips if desired. Cake for 30 minutes or until knife inserted comes out with moist crumbs. Let cool and enjoy! Cake will be very moist. It is recommended that it is stored in the refrigerator as it often grows mold within a couple of days at room temperature. Happy eating!
