Hello! My name is Danielle and if you couldn't already tell, I have a passion for nutrition. I currently hold a Master's of Science in Applied Nutrition from Northeastern University, and a Bachelor's of Science in Health Science from Keene State College. The goal was to become a registered dietitian, but unfortunately I've had a really tough time trying to achieve that goal. Therefore I have recently branched away and obtained my EMT license while working in Admissions at a local hospital.

It's taken me a long time to process the fact that becoming a registered dietitian maybe wasn't my destiny after all. I've worked hard to accomplish what I have and will eternally be proud of making it this far educationally. Though I'm onto bigger and better things, the belief that food and nutrition is a critical aspect of our overall health remains. I believe that edcation is key, which is why I ultimately created this blog.

Not only do I discuss various foods and nutrients at length and provide healthy recipes, I share issues and controversies related to the food industry in the United States. Some of this information may be uncomfortable to read, but I firmly believe that change cannot occur without public awareness.
