Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins

Have you ever had icky bananas that you weren't going to eat and were just going to throw in the trash? Don't waste your money, try out this recipe!

Ingredients:

3 Ripe Bananas 1/2 Tsp Baking Soda

1 Cup Flour 1 1/2 Tsp Baking Powder

1/2 Cup Ground Flax Seed 1/4 Tsp Salt

2/3 Cup Sugar 1 Tsp Cinnamon

1 Egg 1/2 Cup Unsweetened Applesauce

1/4 Cup Milk 1 Cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees, and either grease muffin tin or use liners. Mix flour, flax seed, baking powder, baking soda, salt, sugar and cinnamon together. Mash 3 ripe bananas, but do not over mash. Mix mashed bananas, egg, applesauce, and milk to the dry ingredients until smooth. Do not over mix. Mix in chocolate chips and bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown. Makes about 16 muffins. Enjoy!
